Parent's Name - Ms. Jassica
Child's Name - Camila
Age of Child - 18 months
Enrolment Period - 1 month plus

My baby was late in development because she had 7 months of crisis, which caused her brain development to stop. Now that she has recovered, the neurologist suggested to me to send Camila to music classes. So, one of my friends, a singer introduced Musikgarten to me. That is the reason I joined Musikgarten lessons. Besides, I hope that Camila can learn music and play with the other children in this program.

It has only been a month since we joined the classes, so we can’t say that she has learnt a lot but I did see improvements. She pays attention in class and responses to a few exercises. She starts to repeat what the teacher teaches. Now, my daughter has started to show more focus and attention to music especially classical music. Classical music is good for development.

I expect my baby to understand music, sing properly and in tune, and hope she appreciates music. I hope for my baby to further her music education because all members of my family are musicians. I do practice the home materials with my baby, around 2 times a week. It depends on the baby, how long she can focus her attention. But she focuses more in class then at home. Maybe because I am a musician, I don't find the materials hard to practice. And I enjoy practicing and playing with my baby.

Parent's Name - Mrs. Lee
Name -
Phoebe
Age of Child - 1 year & 9 months
Enrolment Period - 6 months

This is a very good program to train the children in their auditory senses. I believe different people have different learning process and method, some via listening and some by observing. So I let Phoebe join this program to expose her to different education systems. I am very happy that Phoebe start to love music. For example, when she watching the music video clip from TV, she will start to make movements and follow the rhythm. Although she doesn't know how to sing yet, she is able to follow the tune of the music.

Anyway, Phoebe enjoy the class, and she likes to play with all the instruments here. I hope that at least Phoebe understand and remember what she has learnt, like the name of instrument. But Phoebe did learn a lot of vocabularies from the class. For home practising, the Musikgarten CD will always be on and I did play some simple games and instruments with Phoebe that we've learnt from class. I like to do things together with my child.

Parent's Name - Ms. Cindy
Child's Name - Samantha
Age of Child -
1 year & 9 months
Enrolment Period - 6 months
.
I am a piano teacher myself, so I wish to give Samantha a chance to be exposed to and build her
interest in music. After attending the class, I do see improvements. She can follow the class and will
sometimes request to play with her with the instrument.

Now, she loves to listen to child band music. Samantha likes this class very much. Every Monday when there is music class, she will respond with tone and action "bam bam bam", the thing that she had learnt from the class. Let her enjoy herself, because this program doesn't have any exams involved. If this is an academic-based education and there are exams involved, I will have expectations. Meanwhile, I let Samantha join this program to let her have some commitment rather than just staying at home and watching TV. Emm…. for further music education? Yes, since I am piano teacher, I hope she will pickup musical skills.

Child’s Name: Javern
Parent’s Name: Ruby
Age of Child: 1 Year 10 months
Course Enrolled: Musikgarten “Family Music for Toddlers” Program
Enrolment Period: 6 weeks
Location: Taman Tan Yew Lai, KL

Mommy Ruby would like to share…
When my boy first joined Musikgarten, he will not pay attention at the activity in class and walked around in the classroom. After about four classes, he is able to sit down and start to participate in the activities in class. He even started to hum “Ba Ba” at home, the thing that he has learnt from the class which will help to build his basic foundation in music.

Musikgarten has helped my son to be able to sit still & concentrate. This is important and I believe this will help him during his future learning. He also learnt to wait for his turn during the instrument playing time. With this waiting skill, he also learnt how to share and take turns.

Child’s Name: Zhi Shan
Parent’s Name: Olivia
Age of Child: 1 year 6 months
Course Enrolled: Musikgarten “Family Music for Toddlers” Program
Enrolment Period: 10 weeks
Location: Tiffany’s House Music Studio, Taman Tan Yew Lai, KL

Mommy Olivia would like to share…
When my daughter first started, I find that she is only sitting quietly in the class, mostly observing what other children are doing. However, she will start to “output” immediately she stepped into the car on our way home after the class. I was very surprise to find that she is doing the activity she learnt in the class. Once I put on the family toddler CD, she will start dancing and even invited me to dance with her, which we normally do during the class.

I think this is a very good musical program as my daughter is exposed to various music in different tempo. She has learnt to react to slow & fast music accordingly, hence making her very “sensitive” to music.

Whenever Zhi Shan cries, I will sing some of the lullabies we learn in class to her, her favourite is “twinkle twinkle little star”. Once I started singing, she will stop crying and calm down.

I'm delighted that this program has helped me to teach my gal nursery rhymes more creatively that makes her learn joyfully apart from learning through conventional books.

Thanks for recommending this great music program to us!
We really enjoy our time at your music studio! thanks!
